Women's Tennis Doubles Up Springfield, 6-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team bested Springfield, 6-3, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

The Gulls swept doubles play and never looked back. 

Endicott's doubles pairings included Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) / Ripley Uyeda (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) at No. 1 (8-5), Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) / Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.), at No. 2 (8-6), and Olivia Martinelli (Coral Springs, Fla.) / Shelby Henry (Lincoln, Neb.) at No. 3 (8-2) to complete the sweep.

From there, Guster won at the No. 2 singles spot (6-2, 6-3), while Berler clinched the match at No. 5 (6-4, 6-4).

The Gulls also saw Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) post a 7-5, 7-5 triumph at No. 6 to round out the list of winners for the team.
