BEVERLY, MA - Junior Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY/Southampton) scored a pair of first half goals to lift Endicott College past Gordon College, 3-0, Tuesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference field hockey action.
Fallon began the scoring 2:21 into the game against the first place Fighting Scots, who came into Tuesday's contest on a three-game winning streak. She was on the board again 4:13 later with her 11th goal of the season, which assisted by freshman Samantha Bourgeois (Gardner, MA/Gardner).
Endicott junior goaltender Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH/Gould Academy) turned away all seven shots she faced and junior forward Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA/Gardner) put the game out of reach with 20:51 remaining in regulation.
Senior midfielder Ashley Denyse (Dedham, MA/Dedham) stood out for the Fighting Scots, who fell to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in the CCC, while the Gulls moved to 9-4 overall (2-2 CCC).
Endicott returns to action against Salve Regina at 3:30pm on October 20th in Newport, RI.
