BRIDGEWATER, MA -- In non-conference collegiate field hockey action this afternoon, junior forward Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY) tallied a pair of first half goals and junior keeper Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH) recorded her sixth shutout of the season to lead the visiting Gulls of Endicott College to a 3-0 win over the host Bears of Bridgewater State.
Fallon now has seven goals on the season as she is second on the team in scoring with 14 points. Curry made six saves for Endicott as she lowered her impressive goals against average to 0.96. Junior forward Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA) also added a second half goal for the Gulls who improved to 8-3 on the season.
Bridgewater State sophomore goaltender Nicole Downs (Hanover, MA) turned aside seven shots in goal for the Bears who fall to 2-8 on the year.
BSC will look to get back on the winning track on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm as they host the Engineers of WPI. Endicott return to action Saturday at Nichols (10 am).
