BIDDEFORD, ME -- Sophomore Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA/Blackstone-Millville Regional) led Endicott College to a 2-1 victory over the University of New England with a pair of goals Tuesday in Biddeford, Maine.
The tallies were Rheaume's fifth and sixth of the season, giving her 12 points in six games. The Gulls improved to 4-2 (1-1 CCC) while the Nor'easters fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in CCC competition.
Michelle Berard (Ashland, MA/Ashland) fed Rheaume to open the scoring with 14:22 remaining in the first half and Rheaume doubled the lead 2:58 into the second half on a goal set up by Lyndsay Woods (York, ME/ York).
Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH/Gould Academy) made five saves for Endicott, which travels to Salve Regina Saturday.
