Beverly, MA - The Commonwealth Coast Conference announced the 2003 All-Conference Field Hockey Teams last week at Endicott College where the first-seeded Gulls hosted the conference championship against No. 2 New England College.

Gulls junior tri-captain Jen McCormack (Milton, MA) was named 2003 CCC Co-Player of the Year. The junior forward started every regular season game for the Gulls this year, leading the team in goals and total points. McCormack has also been nominated for post-season accolades in the Eastern Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC). She shares the Co-Player of the Year honor with Gordon College senior defender Naomi Campbell.

In addition to McCormack, midfielder Ashley Wallace (So/Hudson, NY) was also named to the CCC All-Conference First Team for 2003. Wallace accumulated 6 assists this season and was a dominant presence on the field for the Gulls. She has been nominated for All-Regional and All-American honors.

Junior Kim Doody (Laconia, NH) was right behind teammate McCormack all season long ranking second in goals and total points for the Gulls. From her position at forward Doody came up with 6 of the Gulls game-winning goals this season, and assisted on 4 others. She was named to second team All-Conference.

Joining Doody on the CCC second team is defender Jen Carney (Wenham, MA). The junior started all regular season games for the Gulls.
