Endicott freshman Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA) was named CCC Rookie of the Week for her efforts against Endicott opponents Wheaton College, American International College, and Salve Regina University.

Murray has made an immediate impact as a forward for EC. She possesses strong stick skills, good game sense, and an accurate shot on goal. In EC's 3 game campaign last week, Murray tallied more than 10 shots resulting in 2 goals and an assist. Her greatest strength may be her ability to create scoring opportunities for her teammates by bringing the ball into the circle and getting it into play in front of the cage.

Endicott field hockey stands at 4-3 overall, 1-1 in conference competition. They play their next game away at Nichols College on Saturday at 11:00 am.
