Dudley, MA - Endicott field hockey traveled to Dudley, MA today to face conference opponent Nichols College.

Despite a strong start by Endicott, Nichols' Jen Reagan was able to post the first goal of the contest on an assist from Lisa LaVierge (22:00).

Two minutes later, Endicott forward captain Jen McCormack (Jr./Milton, MA) returned the favor, tapping one in off a pass from Kim Doody (Jr./Laconia, NH) to tie the score at one-all.

Second half play was dominated by Nichols' penalty corners. EC defense and freshman goalkeeper Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH) prevented Nichols offense from scoring in 10 penalty corner attempts. Curry had 8 saves for Endicott.

With 42 seconds remaining in regulation time, Ashley Wallace (So./Hudson, NY) fired a shot into the circle where, again, McCormack was able to get her stick on it for a goal.

Endicott kept possession as time ran out, improving their conference record to 2-1 The Gulls are 5-3 overall.
