Endicott turned a first game 30-28 loss into a 3-1 match victory over the University of New England in their second conference match of the day. Freshman Sara Moore led the Gull's fight to even out its conference record to 1-1 (4-7 overall) compiling seven blocks. Moore stood out for Endicott, hitting .381 in both conference matches today (10k-2e/21att each match).
Outside hitter Patty Mikan led Endicott's attack with 15 kills and seven aces. Other standouts for the Gulls were Katie Lorinovich with 21 digs, Susan Teta with six aces, and Morgan Tranquist with 10 kills.

We showed a lot of heart today. When we were down 0-2 to ENC we battled back but came up just short. Then against UNE we dropped the first game but came back to play some of our best ball this season.

Kelsey Walton ran the University of New England offense, with 37 assists and Rachel Seawards with 11 kills. Defensively, Libero Christina Paul and Katharine Mack led the team with 23 and 11 digs respectively.
Despite developing consistency in the Endicott offense, the Gulls were unable to conquer conference opponent, Eastern Nazarene. Endicott dropped the first two games quickly (28-30, 16-30), but came back strong in the third game (30-20) hitting .333 and digging 25 of the Crusader's attacks in the fourth game (30-23). ENC squeaked by the Gulls in the fifth game (15-13).
Outside hitters, Patty Mikan and Killeen Ross led Endicott's offense with 13 kills apiece, while Libero Katie Lorinovich led the defensive effort with 26 digs. Freshman Sara Moore continues to make an impact all around leading the Gulls with 17 points (10 kills, 6 aces, and 2 blocks).
In the match, senior setter Krystan Sylva recorded her 100th and 101st career aces. Other match highlights include a record-breaking number of assists and kills in a match by the team. The Gulls combined for 62 assists and 64 kills in the match.
The Gulls return to action on Tuesday, when they will travel to Plymouth State University for a 6:00 PM contest.
