MEDFORD, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team collected three event wins, among many other highlights, on Saturday evening at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic.
Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) bested a field of 55 other runners in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:48.19. Risko broke the tape 2.59 seconds ahead of the second place finisher in the event.
Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) took home first place honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line in 11:56.14.
Meanwhile, Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) rounded out the trio by winning a jump-off in the high jump, clearing a personal best and school record height of 5 feet and 5.25 inches (previous school record, 5-0.25)
All three Gulls also posted New England qualifying performances in their respective events.
As a team, Endicott compiled seven school records, three New England qualifying performances, one school record, and a season-best mark.
