NORTON, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team competed at the Wheaton (Mass.) Postseason Qualifier on Saturday night at the Beard Field House.
Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) broke two school records and posted a pair of New England qualifying performances to highlight the Gulls' efforts.
In the one mile run, Risko bested 26 other competitors by nearly five seconds.
Risko posted a New England qualifying, school record, and personal best time of 5:13.74 on the 200-meter oval (previous school record: Risko, 5:14.16; 2/17/24 | NEQ standard, non-banked 5:19.00).
In the 800-meter run, Risko did more of the same, ranking second overall out of 21 student-athletes in a New England qualifying, school record, and personal best time of 2:24.17 (previous school record: Hannah Shepard, 2:25.59, 2/17/24 | NEQ standard, non-banked 2:26.00).
As a team, the Gulls posted 12 personal records, five season bests, set two school records, tied another, and posted two New England qualifying times.
