BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's track and field student-athletes Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) and Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) have earned Conference of New England (CNE) Field Rookie of the Week and Track Athlete of the Week accolades, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Risko ran a New England qualifying, school record, and personal best performance in the 800m run at the Regis Classic, where the Gulls placed sixth out of 17 teams. The grad student ran a time of 2:18.03 to best the field of 28 other runners as her time was nearly five seconds faster than the second place finisher (4.22). Risko had held the previous school record in the event of 2:18.40, set on 4/27/24.
Meanwhile, at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational on Saturday, Griffith won the high jump, clearing a height of 4 feet and 11 inches. The Franklin, Mass. native also finished second in the high jump (4-11:50) at the Regis Classic on Friday.
This is Risko's fourth career Track Athlete of the Week award (4/2/24, 4/9/24, and 3/31/25) and the second career weekly award for Griffith (3/31/25).

Endicott competes in the Silfen Invitational at Conn. College on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12.
