Risko, 4x400m Relay Headline Final Day At New England D3 Championships

BOSTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team produced several program record performances on Saturday evening at the New England Division III Championships, hosted at the TRACK at new balance.

Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) became the first student-athlete in program history to compete in two individual events at the New England D3 Indoor Championship when she toed the line in the one mile run and 3,000m run today.

Risko placed 11th overall in the one mile (5:10.14, school record) and 24th overall in the 3,000m (10:46.63).

In the one mile, Risko bested her school record time by more than three seconds (5:13.74, 2/22/25).

Additionally, Risko was one of four student-athletes to qualify for four New England Division III Championship events during the season (800m, 1 mile, 3,000m, 5,000m).

The Gulls' 4x400m relay consisting of Meagan McAndrews (Amesbury, Mass.), Gabby Peniche (Milford, Mass.), Chloe Crear (Pelham, N.H.), and Kaylee Whitney (Milford, Mass.) ranked 18th overall in 4:18.21.

Their season-best time ranks second overall on the 4x400m relay performance list.

Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) also finished 11th overall (tied) in the high jump (5-0.50).

Endicott competes at the Elmer Swanson Classic, hosted by Wesleyan University, on Saturday, March 22.
