CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 2 Endicott Travels To No. 1 Roger Williams (Saturday, 1PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The second-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (7-1, 6-0 CCC) is set to travel to first-seeded Roger Williams (5-0, 5-0 CCC) in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament championship game Saturday at 1 PM. Here's a preview of the championship matchup.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • Endicott earned their way to the CCC championship via a, 25-2, victory over Gordon. Roger Williams advanced to the championship game via a no contest. 
  • As a team, the Gulls are positioned first in the CCC in goals (166), assists (117), draw controls per game, (19.00), save percentage (59.8), and goals-against average (4.13). 
  • Roger Williams enters the championship contest leading the CCC in goals-per-game (21.20) and goals against (19). 
  • Saturday's matchup will be the ninth meeting between the two schools in the CCC championship. 
  • The Gulls lead the all-time series between the two teams, 24-4. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse tournament.
