Women's Lacrosse Downs Western New England, 17-4

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Western New England, 17-4, on Wednesday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium. 

The Gulls outscored Western New England 9-1 in the first half and never looked back earning their third straight conference victory. 

Leading the way offensively for The Gulls were Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass), Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.), and Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.) who each notched hattricks in the win.

Meanwhile, in the cage, Alexandra Rose (East Lyme, Conn.) was impressive making 14 saves.  

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Paine's goals were the first in her collegiate career.
  • The Gulls had nine different goalscorers in the win.
  • Endicott leads the all-time series over Western New England, 20-6.
  • The Gulls were dominant on the draw, 16-5.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (3-1, 3-0 CCC) will host Nichols on Wednesday, April 14 at 7 PM. Western New England (1-1, 1-1 CCC) will travel to Gordon on Saturday, April 10 at 4 PM.
