BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team is scheduled to start its 2021 season this Wednesday on the road against No. 18 Trinity at 6:30 PM. Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Margaret Berger (Old Lyme, Conn.), Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.), Alexandra Lawlor (York, Maine), Mollie Manning (Hull, Mass.), Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.), and Alexandra Rose (East Lyme, Conn.) have been named captains for the 2021 season.
- Head coach Maureen Spellman enters her fourth season at the helm, in 2021, in that time Spellman has amassed a 32-10 overall record and a perfect 16-0 record in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play.
- The Gulls have made the CCC tournament championship game the last four seasons, three of which they have won (2017, 2018, 2019).
- Endicott returns its top five offensive performers from last year's shortened season, Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine), Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.), Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.), Prisco, and Feigenbaum.
- Unlike other CCC Spring sports, all league games will count towards the conference standings, as normal.
