No. 18 Trinity Tops Women's Lacrosse, 12-5

HARTFORD, Conn. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team fell to No. 18 Trinity, 12-5, on Wednesday evening at Sheppard Field. 

After the Bantams scored the game's first three goals, The Gulls scored four out of the next five goals in the first half which ended in a 4-4 tie. 

Endicott then opened the scoring in the second half through Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H.) who gave the Gulls a 5-4 lead before Trinity went on an 8-0 run to come away with the 12-5 victory. 

Offensively, Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Conn.) led the way for the Gulls with two goals. 

Meanwhile, in goal Alexandra Rose (East Lyme, Conn.) made a career-high 16 saves. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Trinity leads the all-time series over Endicott, 4-1.
  • Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.)Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.), also scored in the game for The Gulls. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (0-1) opens up Commonwealth Coast Conference play at home against Salve Regina on Saturday, March 27 at 2 PM. Trinity (1-0) will travel to Connecticut College on Saturday, March 27 at 12 PM.
