BEVERLY, Mass. — The third-seeded Endicott women's basketball team (16-10) and second-seeded University of New England (UNE, 18-8) will clash in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament semifinals on Thursday, February 24 at 7 PM. Here's a preview of the playoff matchup.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 8-4 away from The Nest this season.
- The Gulls split with the Nor'Easters in the regular season (1-1), via a loss at home (66-60, 11/20/21) and a win on the road (55-43, 1/25/22).
- UNE enters Thursday's playoff matchup on a nine-game winning streak (perfect 8-0 in February).
- Endicott was the last team to defeat UNE, both overall and at home.
- UNE has not lost at home since its setback against the Gulls (6-0 since 1/25/22, 8-7 overall at the Harold Alfond Forum).
- The last time these two teams met in the postseason Endicott captured its first-ever conference title (74-57, 2/29/21).

The winner between Endicott and UNE will play the winner of No. 1 Roger Williams/No. 5 Gordon in the CCC Championship game on Saturday, February 26 (time TBD).
