CCC TOURNAMENT BRACKET / RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 1 seeded Endicott softball team will host the first double elimination rounds of the Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament this Saturday, April 28.
SCOUTING ENDICOTT (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls enter the weekend with an overall record of 28-4 and finished CCC regular season play with a mark of 16-2 to earn the No. 1 seed. Endicott is led offensively by CCC Rookie of the Year, Adrianna Favreau (Tewksbury, Mass.). She leads the CCC in batting average with .458 and also has tallied 44 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 24 RBI. Jamie Hopgood (Warwick, R.I.) also compiled several impressive stats with a .408 batting average, .471 on-base percentage, 42 hits, 15 doubles (1st in CCC), three home runs, and 28 RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Maggie Oram (Lexington, Mass.) was named to the All-CCC Third Team and has a 10-1 record in 15 appearances for the Gulls. She has pitched 76.2 innings with 67 strikeouts and a 2.74 ERA.
SCOUTING SALVE REGINA (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls and the Seahawks previously met this season on Sunday, April 22 and Endicott came away with a doubleheader sweep. The Gulls won the first game, 7-4, and the second, 3-2 (8 innings). Salve Regina enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed with an overall record of 15-8 and an 11-7 record in CCC play.
SCOUTING GORDON (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): Gordon and Endicott met on Monday, April 9 and the Gulls notched a doubleheader victory with a pair of 4-2 wins. Gordon enters the tournament with an overall record of 10-21 and a 6-12 conference record.
SCOUTING THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls and the Nor'easters met earlier in the season on Monday, April 23 and Endicott recorded a doubleheader sweep. In the first game the Gulls came away with a 7-4 victory and in the second they notched an 8-2 win. The University of New England enters the weekend with an overall record of 17-19 and a 10-8 CCC mark.
