BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's rugby team went 5-0 in its home tournament on Saturday evening to take top honors against the rest of the field.
The Gulls went 3-0 in group play, defeating Curry (37-5), Keene State (29-14), and Central Connecticut State (41-0).
In the semifinals, Endicott defeated Babson College in a nailbiter, 15-14, thanks to a try from Matthew Bant (Jenkintown, Pa.), and finished off the day with a 28-21 win against Boston University in the tournament final.
Men of the Tournament for the Gulls were Bant, DeShean Hatton (Washington, D.C.), Jordan Chappell (Sunapee, N.H.), and Patrick Brennan (Newington, Conn.).

The Gulls are next in action on Saturday April 9th in the CCRC 7's Tournament.
