EASTON, Mass. — The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's rugby team defeated Stonehill College, 51-17, on Saturday evening at Recreational Field.
Graham Lynch (Windsor, Conn.) highlighted the Gulls with one try and three conversions in the match. For his efforts, Lynch was named The Man of the Match.
Matthew Bant (Jenkintown, Pa.) and Jordan Chappell (Sunapee, N.H.) added two tries in the win, while Patrick Brennan (Newington, Conn.), Jonathan Taylor (Chicago, Ill.), Ryan Cafferky (Medford, Mass.), and Lyndon Silver (Topsfield, Mass.) also produced tries for the Gulls.
Defensively, Endicott saw Matthew Gash-Gilder (Kalispell, Mont.), Riki Kanamaru (Shinagawa, Tokyo), and Brad DiGiacomo (Simsbury, Conn.) unleash some big hits, while James Carew (Simsbury, Conn.) recorded multiple poaches, all of which generated many scoring opportunities.
