Fairfield, Conn. - Three Endicott men's lacrosse players were honored by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) for their efforts on the field by being awarded All-New England status.

Senior defenseman Andrew Pochebit (Portland, Maine) was named First Team All-New England by NEILA in a 2011 season in which he posted 40 caused turnovers and 49 groundballs while shutting down opposing attackers.  Pochebit has been part of an Endicott defensive front that has allowed only 7.35 opposing goals per game.

Pochebit, a First Team All-TCCC winner this season, was named a Second Team All-New England player by the NEILA a season ago.

Fellow defenseman Robert Crossett (Katonah, N.Y.) was named NEILA Second Team All-New England after registering a team-high 47 caused turnovers and a second-best 97 groundballs.  Crossett received preseason All-American Honorable Mention recognition, First Team All-TCCC accolades, as well as First Team All-New England status from the NEILA one year ago.

Senior attacker Jack Curtis (Chelmsford, Mass.) is currently second on the Gulls with 58 points (31 goals, 27 assists) and was recognized by the NEILA as a Second Team All-New England player.  Curtis was named First Team All-TCCC this season.

Pochebit, Crossett, Curtis and the rest of the Gulls will travel down to Salisbury, Maryland to faceoff against the Salisbury Sea Gulls in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.  The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday night, May 14th at 7:30 pm.
