May 27, 2008

BEVERLY, Mass. - Four Endicott College men's lacrosse players were recognized by United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association for standout seasons, as the USILA released its annual All-American teams on Sunday evening. Nick Cosco (Londonderry, N.H.), Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, Mass.) and Eric Hagarty (Sudbury, Mass.) were named All-American Honorable Mentions, while Lucien Bolduc (South Windsor, Conn.) was named an Academic All-American.

Nick Cosco was a force from the attack position as the junior scored a team-high 58 goals and assisted on 29 others for a conference-leading 87 points. Cosco averaged 4.14 points per game, a total that placed him among the top-25 in the nation in scoring. The junior's offensive output helped a potent Endicott attack register as the 16th most lethal offensive unit in the country this past season.

Eddie O'Reilly also had a standout junior season, as the Beverly, Massachusetts native notched 49 goals and 15 assists for 64 points. O'Reilly dazzled the opposition with his speed and athleticism, leading the charge for the first midfield unit. O'Reilly average better than three points a game and also scooped up 3.76 groundballs per contest.

Eric Hagarty proved to be one of the nation's top goaltenders in 2008, as the Endicott sophomore backstopped the Gulls to a top-15 national ranking and an 18-3 overall record. Hagarty started 20 games for the Blue and Green, making 202 saves while going 17-2. Haragty and the Gulls' defense posted the nation's top goals against average, as Endicott allowed just 5.43 goals per game. Eric also ranked in the top-three in save percentage, turning away 68% of the shots he faced.

Lucien Bolduc rounds out the Endicott honorees as the senior defender earned Academic All-American status. The Gulls' durable long pole started all 21 games in 2008, grabbing 58 groundballs and causing 27 turnovers. Bolduc also excelled in the classroom, earning a 3.66 grade point average in the Endicott Sport Management major. Bolduc was named to the annual Senior North vs. South All-Star game this year.
