BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott College men's and women's lacrosse teams will both be playing for respective The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships on Saturday at Endicott Stadium in Beverly, Mass. The EC men, ranked 14th in the nation, will be taking on 17th-ranked Western New England College at 12:00 p.m., while the women's team will host Roger Williams University at 3:00 p.m.

The Endicott men's team entered the tournament as the number one seed after finishing the regular season with a perfect 9-0 conference record. Initially defeating eighth-seeded Curry by a score of 11-3, the Gulls advanced to the championship with a 16-6 victory over fourth-seeded Roger Williams University.

This top-20 match-up versus WNEC lived up to its billing when the two teams faced-off during the regular season. The two teams battled into double-overtime with Endicott eventually emerging with an 8-7 victory.

The Endicott women's team also entered the tournament as the top seed, going 10-0 in conference play during the regular season. The Gulls flexed their offensive muscle in the first round, defeating eighth-seeded New England College 25-14. The Green and Blue came from behind, scoring two goals in the final minute of play, including a diving game-winner from freshman Kellie Cunningham (Derry, N.H.) with just five seconds left to top fourth-seeded Gordon College 10-9.

The Gulls defeated Roger Williams decisively during their regular season contest by the score of 17-7.

The Endicott women are looking to capture their third-straight TCCC Championship, while the men are seeking to make it five in a row.
