BRISTOL, R.I. — The Endicott men's basketball team defeated Roger Williams, 86-72, on Wednesday night at the Campus Rec Center Gymnasium.
The Gulls never trailed in the contest to pick up a critical Conference of New England (CNE) victory.
Marcus Montagnino (Gloucester, Mass.) led the charge with a game-high 31 points (11-17 FG, 9-11 FT) and a career-high 16 rebounds.
Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) produced 19 points and hauled in seven boards, while Jeff Hill (Lynn, Mass.) and Drew Brown (Pelham, N.H.) rounded out the list of double-digit scorers with 10 apiece.
Tonight's game only featured two ties (4-4 at 18:08; 6-6 at 17:24) and the Gulls led by as many as 22 points (76-54) with 7:31 remaining in the matchup.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott handed Roger Williams its first home loss of the season (7-1).
- Montagnino has scored 20 or more points in four straight games (five overall).
- He also fell one point shy of tying his career high (32 twice; SUNY Poly on 11/15/24; Western New England on 1/11/25).
