BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's basketball graduate forward Marcus Montagnino (Gloucester, Mass.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Player and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Montagnino highlighted Endicott's 85-84 CNE victory over Wentworth on Saturday with his 22-point (9-15 FG, 4-4 FT), eight-rebound, four-assist, and three-steal performance.
The grad forward led the team in the scoring, rebounding, and theft categories in the short one game week. His season averages now stand at 18.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
His performance awarded him with his fourth CNE Rookie of the Week honors, and his first career CNE Player of the Week award.
