Final Stats

BEVERLY, MA - Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA-Blackstone-Millville) scored three goals to power the Gulls to a 6-1 victory over conference leader Salve Regina.

Endicott took an early lead when Rheaume scored eight minutes into play. The Gulls looked as thought they would pull away when Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA/Gardner) took a pass from Ashley Meunier (Hartland, VT/Kimball Union) and scored giving EC a 2-0 advantage just 13-minutes into the first half.

Salve Regina would cut the Gulls lead in half as Molly Brophy (East Bridgewater, MA/East Bridgewater) redirected a pass from Courtney Ramig (Clinton, MA/Clinton) making it a one goal game and shifting momentum the Seahawk's way.

Endicott would the lead; as they would go on to score four unanswered goals to hand Salve Regina its first conference loss. Rheaume would give EC a 3-1 lead going into the half on a break away goal that was set up nicely by Murray.

Rheaume picked up the hat trick mid-way through the second half as she gave the Gulls a 4-1 lead, effectively giving EC control of the game. Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY/Southampton) would add two goals to seal the deal for Endicott. Murray would also add an assist to the winning effort.

The Seahawks fall to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in the CCC, while Endicott improves to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the CCC. The win pushes the Gulls into a tie for the top spot in the conference with Salve Regina, with only two more CCC games to play. Endicott's next game is set for Saturday afternoon at home against CCC rivals the University of New England.
