Final Stats

BEVERLY, MA - Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY/Southampton) scored two goals, including the game winner, to lift the Gulls over Bridgewater State, 4-1 on Thursday afternoon.

Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA/Blackstone-Millville) scored just over one minute into the game to give EC a 1-0 advantage. Fallon would extend the Gulls lead to 2-0 when she scored the eventual game winning goal a little over three minutes later.

Michelle Berard (Ashland, MA/Ashland) added a third goal later in the first half to give Endicott a seemingly insurmountable 3-0 lead relatively early in the first half. Despite the three goal lead EC struggled at the close of the first half as Bridgewater applied constant pressure keeping the ball in the Gulls defensive area, thanks to nine penalty corners.

The Bears continued their attack in the second half earning another nine penalty corners and out shooting the Gulls 7-3. Bridgewater State finally broke the Gulls defense in the 46 minute as Kelly Downs (Hanover, MA/Hanover) found the back of the goal making it a 3-1 game.

Fallon would seal the win for Endicott as she scored her second goal of the game making it 4-1 in favor of the Gulls. Despite continuing pressure from the Bears, EC would hold on for the three goal victory.

Nicole Downs (Hanover, MA/Hanover) and Chelsea Bracchi (Pembroke, MA/Pembroke) combined to make nine saves for the Bears while Erin Curry (Hampstead, NH/Gould Academy) made nine saves for the Gull. Rheaume and Caitlin Murray (Templeton, MA/Gardner) added assists to help pace to the win

Endicott improves to 8-3 on the year and will next head to Anna Maria College on Saturday to take on the Amcats in a CCC match up.
