BEVERLY, MA - Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA/Blackstone-Millville) scored three goals to lead the Gulls over Nichols College 7-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The two teams played to a 1-1 tie at half time as Ashley Meunier (Hartland, VT/Kimball Union) scored an early goal to put EC up 1-0 before Sara Bailey tied things up for the Bison with just over a minute to play in the first half.
The Gulls would then score six unanswered goals in the second half to ensure the win. Lindsay Fallon (Southampton, NY/Southampton) scored the eventual game winner for Endicott six minutes into the second half. Rheaume would then score two goals giving EC a 4-1 advantage.
Chelsea LeClair (Middlesex, VT/U-32 High School) also added a goal extending the Gulls lead to 5-1 with 20-minutes to play in the game. Meunier added a second goal and Rheaume notched her third in the final 12-minutes of play to seal the deal for Endicott.
Jennifer Beech (Devonshire, Bermuda/Saltas Grammar), Megan McBride (Saugus, MA/Saugus) and Michelle Berard (Ashland, MA/Ashland) all added assists to help the Gulls to their seventh win.
Endicott improves to 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the CCC, while Nichols falls to 3-7 overall and 2-1 in the CCC. The Gulls next game is set for Thursday against Bridgewater State at home.
