DUDLEY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team lost to Nichols College, 12-6, on Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Baseball Field.
Jack Dicenso (Norfolk, Mass.) earned the win on five innings of work, seven hits, four (all earned), three free passes, and a game-high nine strikeouts (tied). Meanwhile, Justin Hurley (Burlington, Mass.) closed out the final four innings (5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 K) to pick up the save.
Patrick Crowley (Dracut, Mass.) suffered the loss via 2/3 of an inning, two runs (both unearned), and two walks.
Trailing 4-2 in the third inning, the Bison rallied for 10 unanswered runs, scoring in every inning but the sixth, to come away with the win.
Endicott did rally for two runs in the ninth on a Christopher Webster (Ludlow, Mass.) RBI single and a run-producing double by Dylan Pacheco (Dartmouth, Mass.), but it wasn't enough for a comeback bid.
