GORHAM, Maine – The No. 30 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team lost to No. 23 Southern Maine, 7-3, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Ed Flaherty Field.
Southern Maine raced out to a 5-0 lead over the first four innings of play and never looked back.
Joshua Joy (Smithfield, Maine) earned the win (2-1) on five innings pitched, five hits, one run (earned), a walk, and two strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Endicott starter Jacob Thibault (Methuen, Mass.) suffered the loss (0-1) via three innings, five hits, four runs (one earned), no walks, and zero strikeouts.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott is 10-3 on the road this season.
- Brad Rebello (Bellingham, Mass.) collected his second career four-hit game as the senior right fielder went 4-for-5 with one RBI out of the leadoff spot.
- Rebello also accounted for half of Endicott's hits in the loss.

No. 30 Endicott (17-8) hosts Salve Regina this Saturday at 12/2:30 PM. No. 23 Southern Maine (17-7) hosts Babson tomorrow at 3:30 PM.
