BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 30 Endicott baseball team was handed a 6-3 loss by Saint Joseph's (ME) on Tuesday afternoon at North Field.

After two scoreless innings, the Gulls got on the board first in the bottom of the third. Christian Jordan (Holden, Mass.) got on base with a walk and then advanced to second on a wild pitch. Brad Rebello (Bellingham, Mass.) hit a single up the middle to send Jordan home and give the Gulls a 1-0 lead.

The Monks responded and gained the lead in the fourth inning on a two-run homer from Ben Gravel (Rochester, N.H.) but Endicott's Jacob Thibault (Methuen, Mass.) ripped his first collegiate homer to tie the game up at 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth.

In the seventh inning, Saint Joseph's once again took the lead when Chris Gerossie (Chester, N.H.) hit a double to send a runner home.

However, Endicott was able to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh.

Saint Joseph's tallied three runs in the top of the ninth, highlighted by Gerossie with a triple to left center to regain the lead for good and secure the 6-3 victory.

Travis Godbout (Portland, Maine) was credited with the win and improved to 4-1 on the season, while Josh Partridge (Deerfield, N.H.) earned his third save of the season.
