BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Margot Andreasen (Portland, Maine) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week honors for the first time in her career for her performances from September 21-27.

Andreasen went 2-0 at the number two singles position, as she helped the Gulls defeat CCC rivals Nichols and Eastern Nazarene.  Andreasen also teamed up with classmate Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.) for a spotless 3-0 mark at No. 2 doubles on the week with victories over opponents from Nichols, Colby-Sawyer and Eastern Nazarene.

Andreasen is currently 6-2 overall in singles play (4-1 CCC, 2-2 at No. 1, 4-0 at No. 2), and 8-1 in doubles action (6-0 CCC, 1-0 at No. 1, 7-1 at No. 2). As a doubles pairing, Andreasen and Barnett are 7-0 overall this year (5-0 CCC, 1-0 at No. 1, 6-0 at No. 2).

Endicott (8-2, 6-0 CCC) hosts Gordon College in a CCC matchup on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
