BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team will look to capture its fifth straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title behind a solid returning core and strong recruiting class in 2015. The Gulls open up their season against nationally ranked Babson on the road on Wednesday, September 2 at 3:30 p.m. before visiting conference opponent Western New England University on Saturday, September 5 at 12 p.m. Now, here's a look at the full schedule and the upcoming season.

RETURNING CAST: Juniors Mackenzie Rhodes (Rye, N.H.) and Jamie Zompa (Marlborough, Mass.) and sophomores Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) and Katie Javaruski (Mansfield, Conn.) all return to the lineup for the Blue and Green this fall. The aforementioned quartet of student-athletes compiled a 9-1 record in CCC singles play and 10-2 mark in doubles matches, combined, a year ago to aid Endicott to its third straight NCAA Tournament first round victory. Rhodes, Zompa, Bergstein, and Javaruski will look to lead a talented group of eight first-year student-athletes back to the top of the conference in 2015.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Endicott will host six home matches in September starting with Bridgewater State University on Tuesday, September 8 at 3:30 p.m. The Gulls will also take on Salve Regina (Sept. 10,  3:30 PM), Curry (Sept. 16, 3 PM), Salem State University (Sept. 17, 3 PM), Colby-Sawyer (Sept. 23, 3:30 PM), and Gordon (Sept. 30, 3 PM).

In October, Endicott wraps up its 2015 home slate with one match versus Wentworth at 12 p.m. on Homecoming Weekend.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS: The Gulls were picked to repeat as CCC champions earlier this week after receiving 74 points, including five first place votes, in the conference preseason poll.

YEAR IN REVIEW: Endicott captured its fourth straight CCC title last fall after going 14-5 overall and 8-0 in conference play. The Gulls defeated Gordon, 5-0, in the CCC Tournament semis and Nichols, 5-1, in the conference tournament championship match.
