BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team remained perfect in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Wednesday afternoon as the Gulls picked up a 9-0 victory over Curry College.
Endicott only dropped three games in doubles as the No. 2 and No. 3 positions won by identical 8-0 scores to get the match started. Freshmen Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.) and Margot Andreasen (Portland, Maine) went on to complete the doubles sweep in the No. 1 slot for the Gulls with an 8-3 victory over junior Kayla Prete (Orange, Conn.) and senior Kimberly Love (Windsor Locks, Conn.).
In singles play, sophomore Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) made the score 4-0 in favor of the Blue and Green with a quick 6-0, 6-0 triumph against Curry senior Hannah Erickson (Mount Desert, Maine) at No. 3, while freshmen Lauren Rahr (Waterford, Conn.) locked up the win with a 6-0, 6-0 decision in the No. 5 slot over Rosaria Robidoux (Agawam, Mass.).

"We earned another solid home victory today," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Jeremy Howard. "We will look to make it a 3-0 week against Salem State on Friday in a pivotal North Shore Cup battle versus the Vikings."

- Dating back to the 2003-04 season, Endicott is 14-0 against Curry.
- The Gulls extended their CCC regular season winning streak to 14 straight matches with today's win over the Colonels.

- Freshmen Reilly Fitzgibbons (Killingworth, Conn.) is currently on a five match winning streak in singles. Fitzgibbons also picked up her first career singles victory at the No. 1 position today.
- Freshmen Bridget Cott (Wilton, Conn.) earned her first career singles win at No. 6 with a 6-0, 6-0 decision over Alison Federlein (Macomb, Mich.).
- Freshmen Gillian Freter (Scituate, Mass.) and Alexi Losano (Saugus, Mass.) are now 1-1 in doubles play together after today's 8-0 victory at No. 3.
- Junior Mackenzie Rhodes (Rye, N.H.) remained undefeated in singles play with her 6-2, 6-0 triumph at No. 4. Rhodes has won singles matches at the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 positions this season for the Gulls.
