Endicott Falls To Colby-Sawyer In Non-Conference Action

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott women's tennis team played host to NEAC foe Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday evening and fell by a final score of 6-3. In doubles play, Colby-Sawyer's number three pairing of Maddy Gemerek (Balston Spa, N.Y.) and Lauren Blanchard (Agawam, Mass.) started the scoring by claiming an 8-5 win.

Endicott's number two pairing of Margot Andreasen (Portland, Maine) and Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.) notched the only doubles victory for the Gulls with an 8-5 win over their Charger counterparts, while the point at the top doubles pairings would be the hardest fought, with Colby-Sawyer's Ashlyn Ramsay (Barkhamsted, Conn.) and Ashley Woodside (Hampden, Maine) edging out a 9-7 victory to give the visitors a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
