Clark, Napolitano Earn Weekly Awards

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's lacrosse student-athletes Emerson Clark (Gloucester, Mass.) and Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.)  have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Clark was named the CCC Rookie of the Week, while Napolitano garnered CCC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Clark registered six goals in a 1-2 week for the Gulls as they took on two ranked opponents (No. 8 Wesleyan (Conn.) and No. 3 Tufts). In Monday's game against the Cardinals, Clark tallied two goals and scooped up a ground ball. Followed that performance up in a 14-12 victory over Vassar by recording her third hat trick of the season while again collecting a ground ball.

Then on Sunday against undefeated No. 3 Tufts, scored a goal as the Gloucester, Mass. native added another ground ball, a draw control, and caused a turnover in the setback.

Meanwhile, Napolitano compiled seven goals and four assists for 11 points in a 1-2 week for the Gulls. Recorded two or more goals in every game during the three-game stretch including two goals against both No. 8 Wesleyan (Conn.) and No. 3 Tufts while tallying three versus Vassar. The graduate student had an assist against Wesleyan and Vassar along with two more against the Jumbos.

This is the second time Clark has been named Rookie of the Week this season (3/05/24). Napolitano's recognition is the first of her career.
