RAPID REACTION w/ HANNAH SHAW

BEVERLY, Mass. – Led by three student-athletes in double-figures, the Endicott women's basketball team claimed a pivotal conference victory over Gordon College, 61-41, on Thursday night inside MacDonald Gymnasium.

Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) paced the Gulls with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) notched 11 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks. Sarah Hood (Burlington, Mass.) rounded out the trio of double-digit scores with 10 points, seven boards, an assist, and a steal.

After claiming a 36-22 advantage at the break, the Gulls turned away a potential Gordon comeback with a 15-0 run that started at 4:49 of the third quarter (40-31), and later spilled over into the fourth (53-31, 8:50). Endicott received four points apiece from Pratt and Hood during the run, while Kaleigh Putnam (Wallingford, Conn.) drilled a three-pointer, and Hannah Kiernan (Wenham, Mass.) and Shaw converted layups.

The Gulls' 15-0 run also came when they needed it most, as Jess Ryan's (Milford, N.H.) layup at the 5:12 mark of the third pulled Gordon within seven points, its lowest deficit of the entire second half.
