BEVERLY, Mass. – Over the last few months, several Endicott student-athletes have volunteered their time in the area's surrounding communities. Here's a look at what some of the teams have been up to so far this year.

The Endicott women's basketball team recently volunteered at the Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston helping out companies such as Webster Bank and Home Goods to work the final comfort station before the finish line.

Men's lacrosse also volunteered with Backyard Growers, while the men's basketball team partnered with the Lone Gull Challenge as part of their volunteerism for the month.

In 2015-16, the Endicott Athletics and Recreation department volunteered 5,000 hours of its time to many organizations who are affiliated with the Endicott Community Service Program. In total, the Endicott Athletics and Recreation department made up 23-percent of the school's 22,000 hours of community service for the year.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AT ENDICOTT

Endicott's Community Service Program offers a wealth of opportunities for students to volunteer their time and talents to help those in need. The mission of the Community Service office is to provide resources and raise awareness for both Endicott and the surrounding communities. This goal is backed by the belief that in helping others you are helping yourself.
