Jenna Cosgrove ’09 Named Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach For World Maccabiah Games

BEVERLY, Mass. – Former Endicott student-athlete Jenna Cosgrove '09 (Sharon, Mass.) has been selected as an assistant coach for Team USA's Open Women's Basketball team at next summer's 20th World Maccabiah Games, which will take place in Israel from July 4-18. Cosgrove was appointed to the squad by current head coach Sherry Levin.

"I am so grateful and excited to work alongside Coach Levin, who has proven success at past Maccabiah Games, including two gold medals," Cosgrove said. "I am looking forward to broadening my horizons and hope to be impactful on and off the court with the top female Jewish basketball players in the United States. I'd like to thank Stephanie Gaitley, my coach at Fordham, for recommending me for this position."

Cosgrove, who is currently in her sixth year as member of the Fordham University women's basketball staff, has helped the Rams to three consecutive postseason appearances, including the 2014 NCAA Tournament, and three straight 20-win seasons. Cosgrove began her career at Fordham as an Administrative Assistant in 2010, and since then has earned two promotions to assume roles on staff as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations (2011-14) and Assistant Coach (2014-present).

During her time at Endicott, Cosgrove was a four-year student-athlete and captain of the women's basketball team in 2008-09. Cosgrove also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree and coaching certification in Sport Management. She later went on to receive her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Fordham in February of 2013.
