CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR THE WEEK OF NOV. 28 - DEC. 4

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Junior forward Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) has been recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the first time in her career as announced today by the conference office.

Shaw continued her hot streak for Endicott (3-3, 2-0 CCC) this week to push the Gulls' winning ways to three straight games, as she led the Gulls in scoring for the fifth time this season.

Shaw helped the Gulls to a 2-0 record to begin conference play, highlighted by a season-high 24 points against Eastern Nazarene on Saturday. Shaw averaged 21.0 points per game on the week and collected 16 rebounds, five assists, 11 steals, and one block. Shaw also tied the Endicott program record for most steals in a single game with nine against Curry on Wednesday in the Gulls' home opener.

Endicott has received CCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolades in back-to-back weeks as junior guard Gabriella Coppola (Watertown, Mass.) was last week's honoree.

Shaw, 2014-15 CCC Rookie of the Year and 2015-16 CCC Third Team member, has previously earned three CCC Rookie of the Week honors in her career (01/26/15, 02/02/15, 02/09/15), but today was her first CCC Player of the Week nod.

The Gulls are back in action tomorrow night as they head up to Biddeford, Maine on Tuesday, December 6 to take on the host University of New England Nor'easters at 5:30 p.m.
