Kasprzak Claims CoSIDA Academic All-District® At-Large First Team Honors

COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's volleyball student-athlete Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) has received CoSIDA Academic All-District® At-Large First Team honors, as announced by the organization earlier this week.

Kasprzak will now appear on the national ballot for selection to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® team, which will be voted on by Sports Information Directors (SIDs) across the country in late July.

Additionally, Kasprzak is the first student-athlete in men's volleyball program history to garner CoSIDA Academic All-District® At-Large First Team honors.

He also is just the third sophomore in Endicott Athletics history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District® First Team honors. In total, 68 Gulls have been awarded CoSIDA Academic All-District® and/or CoSIDA Academic All-America® accolades in the department's history.

Academically, Kasprzak currently sports a 3.94 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as a business management major.

Kasprzak's other academic honors include his recent selection to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference Team and multiple Dean's List accolades.

Outside of the classroom, Kasprzak's internship experiences are highlighted by his time at Brandywine Technical Partners. During his time with the company, Kasprzak was responsible for installing commercial phone systems and security cameras; running electrical wires, snake walls, and placing ports into walls to install landline phones; creating and orchestrating ad campaigns through Facebook Business Manager; and communicating with customers on a daily basis.

His experiences with Brandywine Technical Partners has led Kasprzak to co-starting his own marketing firm with men's rugby student-athlete Ryan Curley (Marshfield Hills, Mass.) called Brindle Creative Solutions. The company focuses on advertising, graphic design, and public relations for several businesses.

Kasprzak also is a member of the Endicott College Emerging Leaders Program, EC L.E.A.D. (Leaders of the Endicott Athletics Department), and has earned Facebook Certifications in digital marketing, creative strategy, and media planning.

Athletically, Kasprzak is a two-time NECC All-Conference selection and the 2020 NECC Rookie of the Year.

In 10 matches this past season, Kasprzak notched 1.25 kills per set (35 total), a .226 hitting percentage, 0.61 blocks per set (4 solo, 13 assist), and averaged 1.7 points per set (46.5 points total).

His play aided Endicott to a 9-4 overall record and 6-0 mark in league play en route to sweeping Elms in the NECC Championship on April 10. The win marked the Gulls' seventh NECC title in program history.
