BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 10 nationally ranked Endicott men's volleyball team is scheduled to embark on its 2021 season this Saturday on the road against No. 1 Springfield at 1 PM. Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Endicott men's volleyball program has compiled a 378-250 overall record (.602) and a 222-49 conference mark (.819) since its establishment in 2000.
  • During that span, the Gulls have been nationally ranked 65 times, which includes 30 occurrences being ranked inside the top-10.
  • Make sure to keep an eye Bryn Lipton's (Rockford, Ill.) record book pursuits this season. The three-time All-American currently ranks fifth all-time in kills at 1,001 (4th - 1,045 | 3rd - 1,059) and fourth overall in points (3rd - 1,272.0), among several other categories.
  • The Gulls return several key members from last year's squad highlighted by the upperclassmen leadership group of Lipton, Erich Roman (Glastonbury, Conn.), Justin Kegebein (Liverpool, N.Y.), and Gabe Felicetti (Charlestown, R.I.). Last season, Lipton earned conference Player of the Year honors, while sophomore Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) joined Lipton on the list of major award winners as the league's Rookie of the Year. Meanwhile, Felicetti joined the aforementioned award-winning duo on the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Conference First Team.
  • Endicott's 24-person roster features 16 student-athletes outside of the New England region.
