Men’s Volleyball Ranked Tenth In AVCA Preseason National Poll

AVCA PRESEASON POLL

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball program has been ranked No. 10 overall in the 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Preseason Poll, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Springfield took the top spot in this year's poll (311 points, 19 first place votes), while SUNY New Paltz (291, 2), Vassar (254), Stevens (243), and Rutgers-Newark (205) rounded out the top-5.

Following Rutgers-Newark on the remainder of the poll were Dominican (193), St. John Fisher (183), New York University (NYU, 159), Carthage (145), Endicott (116), Benedictine (96), Lancaster Bible (81), Kean (54), North Central (42), and Juniata (34).

Endicott earned its No. 10 spot on this year's poll based on its 13-3 record last season, a No. 11 final ranking in the 2020 AVCA Coaches Poll, and the potential of this year's roster.

Meanwhile, overall in program history, the Gulls have been nationally ranked 62 times, which includes 27 national rankings inside the top-10.
