Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands), Zach Arpey (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), and Porter Williams (Raleigh, N.C.) were all dual winners on the day as the Gulls improve to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Gordon stalls at 4-4, 1-1.

Locke and Arpey, the reigining TCCC rookie of the week, cruised to an 8-1 win at number one doubles while Williams and teammate Jake Cohen (Barrington, R.I.) matched the effort to give the visitors a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.

The Blue and Green took all five singles in matches in straight sets. Tyler Hovey-Wildman’s (Concord, N.H.) hard fought loss at number six singles was decided in three sets (6-2, 2-6, 10-8).

Olivier Joggi (Stoneham, Mass.) cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the number three spot while Evan Ross dominated at number five (6-3, 6-1).

The Gulls return to action tomorrow (March 27) when they travel to the University of Southern Maine for a 2:00 pm non-conference matchup.
