Springfield, Mass. - Endicott freshman Zach Arpey (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) won his third consecutive TCCC Rookie of the Week award after going 3-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play with teammate Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands).
Still undefeated in singles play, Arpey won three more matches to move to 9-0 on the season. In all three \#4 singles matches this week, the freshman won in straight sets as Endicott as a team won all three matches.
The Gulls have now won six matches in-a-row and stand at 4-0 in conference play.
Arpey won 6-2, 6-2 against his Wentworth opponent and 6-3, 6-1 against his Eastern Nazarene opponent in TCCC matches this week. In a 9-0 non-conference win for the Gulls, Arpey handed the opposition a 6-1, 6-2 defeat.
In \#1 doubles play, Arpey and Locke won 8-4 and 8-1 against Wentworth and Salem State before a challenging 9-7 thrilling win over Eastern Nazarene.
Arpey and his Endicott teammates travel to Curry on Tuesday, April 5th for a 3:30 pm match in Milton.
