TCCC Athletes of the Week
Springfield, Mass. – Freshman Zach Arpey (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) garnered Rookie of the Week honors from the TCCC for the second week in-a-row by going undefeated in all singles and doubles matches.
Springfield, Mass. – Freshman Zach Arpey (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) garnered Rookie of the Week honors from the TCCC for the second week in-a-row by going undefeated in all singles and doubles matches.
Arpey improved to 6-0 in singles play after winning both of his \#4 singles matches. Against TCCC rival Gordon, Arpey won 6-3, 7-5 over his opponent and against regional non-conference foe Southern Maine he won 6-2, 6-2.
In \#1 doubles play with teammate Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands), the duo won 8-1 against Gordon and edged their Southern Maine opponents 8-6.
Arpey and the Gulls will host Wentworth in TCCC action on Tuesday, March 29th at 3:30 pm at Endicott’s South Campus Courts.
