Men's tennis wins third match in-a-row; beat Southern Maine 7-2

Portland, Maine - The Endicott men's tennis team now has a .500 record after beating the University of Southern Maine 7-2 in non-conference action Sunday afternoon. 

The Gulls swept all three doubles match ups and claimed four out of six singles games.  

Freshman Zach Arpey (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) improved to 6-0 in singles play after topping his opponent 6-2, 6-2 in \#4 singles.  Arpey and senior teammate Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands) edged their \#1 doubles opponents 8-6. 

Locke won his \#2 singles match as well, winning 6-1, 6-4 while sophomores Olivier Joggi (Stoneham, Mass.) and Jake Cohen (Barrington, R.I.) each won their respective matches in straight sets as well. 

Joggi and Evan Ross (Worcester, Mass.) teammed up in \#2 doubles to win 8-6.  Cohen and Porter Williams (Raleigh, N.C.) battled hard for their 9-8 win in \#3 doubles. 

Endicott hosts Wentworth on Tuesday, March 29th at 3:30 pm in TCCC action.
