Endicott's Ashleigh Allen Selected To The NFHCA Division III Senior Game

BEVERLY, Mass.- Senior midfielder Ashleigh Allen (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game to be held on Saturday, November 21st at Washington & Lee University (Lexington, VA) at 4:00 p.m. 

The Endicott field hockey team is proud to send Allen to this 2015 Sports Victory Tours game as the lone representative from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

In nearly two full seasons playing for the Gulls, Allen has totaled 44 points on 14 goals and 16 assists. Allen registered her first career hat trick with three goals in the team's 7-2 victory over Western New England at North Field on Sept. 30, 2015. Allen leads the team this season in assists (7) and is tied for third in the CCC in assists and shots taken (67).

In 2014, her athletic output of 10 goals, including five game-winners, and nine assists helped her earn All-Region honors from the NFHCA and ECAC as well as an All-CCC First Team nod. She was later selected to compete for USA Field Hockey's High Performance New England Region Squad. 

Allen transferred to Endicott after spending her first two seasons at Division I Quinnipiac University. The Nursing major with a minor in Psychology has excelled with a 3.43GPA while completing clinical hours at Tufts Medical Center and Brigham & Women's Maternity. She has been named NFHCA National Academic Squad and was a 2014 CCC Academic All-Conference honoree.

Endicott travels to Western New England for a 4:00 p.m. game today before returning home for a Senior Day showdown with Nichols College on Saturday, October 31 at 1:00 p.m. in the final game of the regular season.
