Endicott Announces Fall Schedules for Field Hockey, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball

BEVERLY, Mass. – Following the conclusion of another successful season, the Endicott Athletics Department looks to what lies ahead for the 2015-16 academic year starting with the release of the fall 2015 schedules for field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.

Below is a brief synopsis of each program's schedule with a direct like to their fall schedule.

Field Hockey
2015 Endicott Field Hockey Schedule
2014 Record: 16-5 (9-3 CCC)
Postseason: CCC Finalist

The Endicott field hockey team amps up their non-conference schedule this fall with NESCAC opponents Colby (September 13th) and Bates (October 7th), who the Gulls have never faced in their 22-year history, while continuing their recent rivalries with NEWMAC foes Babson (September 4th) and MIT (September 24th). Games against Babson, Colby, MIT, and Bates will all be on Endicott's North Field. The quest for the program's third CCC Championship begins on Wednesday, September 16th at Salve Regina with marquee conference games against University of New England (September 22nd, October 14th), Nichols (September 26th, October 31st), and Gordon(October 3rd, October 20th) expected to determine the team's potential playoff standing. Field hockey will be on the road for Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 3rd at Gordon. Senior Day festivities for the team's six-person senior class will be honored on Saturday, October 31st at 1:00 p.m. against Nichols.  

Football
2015 Endicott Football Schedule
2014 Record: 5-5 (4-3 NEFC)
Postseason: N/A

In 2015 the Endicott football team, under the leadership of first-year head coach Kevin DeWall, will look to compete for contention of the NEFC regular season championship trophy after not reaching postseason play for the first time since the 2009 season with last fall's 5-5 season. The non-conference schedule is daunting with matchups against the class of both the MASCAC and Liberty League (LL) over the first three weeks of the season. The season opens at home against two-time MASCAC regular season victors Framingham State on Saturday, September 5th for a noon kickoff at Endicott Stadium followed by a pair of road tests at NCAA Quarterfinalist Hobart on September 12th and the LL's second-best team in 2014 St. Lawrence on September 19th. The NEFC docket opens at Nichols four week on September 26th before the Gulls return for Homecoming Saturday on October 3rd against the reigning NEFC champs and NCAA Second Round qualifiers MIT. Endicott's 2015 fate will also rely heavily on their performance in week's seven and nine on the road against Salve Regina (October 17th) and Western New England (October 31st). Endicott's senior class will be recognized on Saturday, November 14th at 12:00 p.m. against Coast Guardwith Senior Day.

Men's Soccer
2015 Endicott Men's Soccer Schedule
2014 Record: 12-7-4 (4-2-3 CCC)
Postseason: ECAC DIII New England Champions, CCC Semifinalist

The Endicott men's soccer team experienced its first championship-winning season since 1998 with an ECAC title last fall and in 2015, the Gulls aim for a deep run in the CCC Tournament. Preparing Endicott for postseason play is a challenging non-conference that includes the 2014 NCAA National Champions Tufts at home on September 9th, NCAA Second Round qualifier and MIAA automatic qualifiers Calvin in the season opener at home on September 4th, NCAA at-large qualifiers Coast Guard on the road (September 22nd), and other signature non-league matches against Utica (September 5th) and Williams (October 13th). Endicott's CCC schedule begins at University of New England on Saturday, September 12th with their first home conference game coming against the team that knocked them out of the tournament last year, Nichols, on September 18th. The Gulls will host Eastern Nazarene on Homecoming Weekend, Saturday, October 3rd and will also celebrate Senior Night on Tuesday, October 27th at home against Gordon.

Women's Soccer
2015 Endicott Women's Soccer Schedule
2014 Record: 10-5-4 (6-2-1 CCC)
Postseason: CCC Quarterfinalist

After an abrupt end to the 2014 season, the Endicott women's soccer team is eager to get back on the pitch this fall starting with their season and home opener against Salem State on Wednesday, September 2nd followed by a road trip on Saturday, September 5th to face 2014 LEC Champions and NCAA First Round qualifiers Keene State. One of Endicott's biggest road, non-conference matches of the season will be on Tuesday, September 22nd when the Blue and Green travel to 2014 NEWMAC Champions and NCAA First Round qualifiers Springfield for their first-ever meeting in program history. The Gulls will take on NEWMAC Semifinalist Babson (September 9th) and LEC Semifinalist Eastern Conn. St. (October 7th) at home as well as NESCAC Quarterfinalist Tufts (October 14th). Endicott's first CCC opponent of the 2015 regular season will be University of New England on Saturday, October 12th in Biddeford, Maine before hosting Nichols on September 18that home. On Saturday, September 26th, the Blue and Green visit the defending CCC champions and NCAA Quarterfinalists Roger Williams for what will be their biggest regular season conference game of the season. Senior Day will take place on Saturday, October 17th in a home tilt against Western New England and the season finale will also be at Endicott Stadium on Tuesday, October 27th against Gordon.

Women's Tennis
2015 Endicott Women's Tennis Schedule
2014 Record: 14-5 (8-0 CCC)
Postseason: NCAA Second Round, CCC Champions

The Endicott women's tennis team, winners of five CCC titles over the past seven seasons, opens up the 2015 portion of their schedule on Wednesday, September 2nd against last year's NEWMAC winners and NCAA Second Round players Babson before playing their first CCC match on Saturday, September 5th at Western New England. The Gulls will also take on LEC Semifinalists Bridgewater State (September 8th) as part of their early-season non-conference schedule before a heavy slate of conference matches including important tilts against Roger Williams (September 12th) and Nichols (September 22nd). Late in the regular season, Endicott faces NAC automatic qualifier Colby-Sawyer on September 23rd before three final CCC matches leading up to tournament play. Endicott is also slated to compete in the USTA/ITA Regional Championships starting on September 19th as well as NEWITTs beginning on October 16th.

Women's Volleyball
2015 Endicott Women's Volleyball Schedule
2014 Record: 18-17 (5-3 CCC)
Postseason: ECAC Finalist, CCC Semifinalist

This fall, the Endicott women's volleyball will face five teams that went to the NCAA Tournament as the Gulls look to end a six-year drought of CCC Championships after winning four from 2004-08. Tops among those postseason qualifiers is NCAA Quarterfinalist Stevens who Endicott will play as part of a weekend trip to New Jersey for the Stevens Tech Invitational from September 18th-19th. The Gulls will also play Empire8 winners Stockton, Kean, and NYU that same weekend. Endicott visits Tufts, an at-large qualifier out of the NESCAC, on October 7th in Medford before hosting the Endicott Invitational where they take on NAC champions Colby-Sawyer, Moravian, and NEWMAC automatic qualifiers Babson over the October 9th-10th weekend. Endicott's match with the defending CCC champions Roger Williams, who reached the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014, is set for Homecoming Saturday on October 3rd. The Gulls will also compete at both the Brandeis and MIT Invitational Tournaments as part of their challenging non-conference slate. The season opens on Wednesday, September 2nd at home against Simmons and the CCC schedule begins on Saturday, September 26th inside MacDonald Gymnasium versus Wentworth. Senior Day will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31st during a tri-match against Eastern Nazarene and St. Joseph's (Conn.) which starts at 11:00 a.m.
