SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College freshman Alexandra Parese (Wilton, Conn.) was named field hockey TCCC Rookie of the Week this week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Tuesday. Parese helped lead the Gulls to The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship game by scoring a goal in a 2-0 win over Gordon College last week.

The freshman Parese scored the game-winning tally in the 21st minute of the Gulls TCCC Semifinal win over Gordon College on Wednesday. The Gulls would go onto lose in the TCCC Championship game to NEC 1-0 as NEC's Kate Carnaroli (Bellingham, Mass.) scored in the 60th minute to beat the Gulls.

Endicott now looks forward to the ECAC field hockey tournament starting on Wednesday. The Gulls have claimed the number one seed and earned a first round bye. The Gulls will play in the Semifinals on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. on North Field on the campus of Endicott.
